 Today we read two poems and broke them down stanza by stanza. we grabbed a deeper meaning to each stanza and applied it to the real world somewhat. an example would be life is no crystal stairs which means life isn’t easy. Some of these quotes i related to since my parents said similar things. We also described what it meant to be american which i found trivial due to the fact there are opposite sides to these oh so great meanings such as freedom which also comes with a form of oppression.

bell ringer

 Based off the video from the bell ringer I whole heartedly believe that there is other life in our universe. It’s to naive to think we are the only beings in this vast universe. When i seen that image of earth from mars i was in aw that our planet looked so tiny and far away compared to being right on it. Speaking of outer space the sounds i’ve heard from the black hole are genuinely terrifying. Just thinking of even being that close and hearing it in person strikes fear into my heart. All of these new found sounds and events makes me think that my life here is timed and we never know what the universe may hold so I , as my own person, have to make the best of what I have.

Nov 7th

 Today we sat in groups to discuss a group assignment. We went over the rubric and were each assigned a role. My role was the Vocab or word wizard. There wasn’t much difficult words in the letter we were assigned so it was fairly easy.
